About
Nour is a boutique hospitality brand located in Uluwatu, Bali. Designed as a collection of eight private villas, it blends Mediterranean influence with the local character of Uluwatu. The brand focuses on light, balance, and simplicity, offering a calm retreat that connects travelers to nature and community.
Every detail of Nour is built with clarity and purpose. The architecture and interiors reflect a balance between function and refinement, while the brand identity translates that vision into a visual system that feels consistent and grounded. Nour represents an approach to hospitality defined by integrity, design, and comfort.
Roles
As the Brand Creative Manager, I led the development of Nour’s brand identity and creative direction. My work covered brand concept, strategy, naming, visual design, and marketing collateral across both digital and print applications.
I worked closely with the property development and architecture teams to ensure alignment between the physical space and its visual identity. From logo design and color palette to photography direction and material choices, every element was created to reflect the brand’s understated aesthetic and attention to detail.
Design Approach
The design direction for Nour is built on minimalism, warmth, and structure. The identity reflects the meaning of its name 'light' through a refined visual language centered around calm tones and open space. The logo uses a clean, thin-lined type to convey modernity and balance, supported by a color palette of earth tones that blend elegance with familiarity.
Typography, layout, and imagery were designed to communicate a sense of continuity between brand and environment. Photography highlights natural light, texture, and material, with a focus on craftsmanship and atmosphere. The goal was to create a brand system that feels cohesive across every medium while staying true to its location and intent.
Strategic Thinking
Nour was developed to set a higher standard for boutique property design in Bali. The strategy focused on positioning the brand as a bridge between modern hospitality and local culture. By emphasizing design integrity, sustainability, and accessibility, the brand appeals to both travelers and investors who value quality and long-term vision.
The approach was built on clarity and consistency. Every visual and verbal element was created to communicate professionalism and authenticity. The result is a brand that feels aspirational yet grounded, capable of growing across audiences and platforms without losing its identity.
Marketing Strategy
Nour’s marketing strategy focuses on visibility, credibility, and emotional connection through design. The goal was to communicate value through simplicity, clear messaging, strong visuals, and consistent presentation.
Content is developed to highlight the experience of the space rather than to advertise it. Social and digital channels serve as extensions of the brand, built around lifestyle storytelling, architectural detail, and visual balance. The tone remains composed and consistent, positioning Nour as a design-led property that speaks through quality and precision.
